Based around the ancient Chinese philosophy of Feng Shui and built around a heavenly little bay with a beach of golden sand, Legends is the Zen place in which to unwind.

The setting is delightful, with the tranquil lagoon looking out towards islets with enchanting names like ‘Gunners Point’, ‘Flat Island’, Gabriel Islet and ‘Sugar Loaf’.

The emphasis is on being in harmony with your environment – and, of course, yourself. In Feng Shui, great emphasis is placed on the 5 elements of Water, Earth, Wood, Fire and Metal and the importance of colours, and this is reflected in the decor throughout the hotel. 126 Superior Room (48 m²)
(the main element is metal) - The room’s feature element is Metal. Wooden fittings give a sensuous warmth to the rooms,
which are resplendent in subdued and elegantly sophisticated shades of sand and ochre colours.
46 Deluxe Room (58 m²)
(the main element is water) - The warm, subtle lighting gleams almost like candlelight through the rooms where the dominant Feng Shui element is featured in the water sculpture. As in all the rooms, the décor uses pure lines, with shades of blue and sandy colours.
23 Junior Suites (78 m²)
(the main element is wood) - The Suites are spacious and luxuriously decorated in subtle shades of sand and ochre, blending
perfectly with the main element, which is wood. There is an ottoman at the foot of the super-king size double beds and a large, comfortable sitting area on the private terrace or balcony. Each Suite has a small dressing room and spacious bathroom, with a walk-in shower, two washbasins, a whirlbath and a separated toilet.
2 Senior Suites (98 m2)
(the main element is earth+fine) - The themes are earth and fire. Each villa has its own private garden, looking out towards the lagoon.
The Suite Ming and the Suite Tang almost glow with warm red and orange hues. From the sitting area, two steps lead up to the
magnificent double bed. Each of the villas has its own whirlbath and a very spacious bathroom.
1 Emperor Villa: (288 m2)
This Emperor Villa is the most luxurious place imaginable in which to renew all one’s energy. All 5 elements of Feng Shui are used in the furbishing and fittings, with its simply fabulous décor.
The Villa has 2 bedrooms (1 Adult bedroom + 1 children bedroom) with en-suite bathrooms, as well as its own fitted kitchenette. It has its own whirlpool and a delightful, private outdoor stone garden with a pool, a barbecue area and a gazebo
for outside dining.
A very special feature of the Villa is that it has its own private beach, and there is a butler available.

Ginkgo

Looking out over the pool and towards the sea, the hotel’s main restaurant offers a magnificent breakfast buffet.
Dining specialties include tables d’hôte, gala dinners on alternate evenings and buffets themed with Mauritian, Asian and mediterranean.
La Bastide

(12.30 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 7.30 p.m. - 10.30 p.m.)
The beach bar and grill offers Mediterranean cuisine, with a hint of the tropics. It has a relaxed atmosphere, under large pergola on a decked terrace, by the water’s edge, looking out towards the northern islands.
Karma House

The hotel’s gastronomic restaurant is perfect for a special evening in an elegant setting. A superb open terrace overlooking the pool adds to the feeling of space, also reflected in the open-style kitchen and the walk-in wine cellar. Karma House is based on a “trilogie” concept (same ingredient cooked in three different ways).
Abalone
Seats: 40

In the evenings, seafood and pearly shellfish alternate with scarlet red crayfish twice a week. Abalone is also open for lunch, when its specialities include hearty salads and local, Mauritian dishes.
Grand Bleu
(12.30 p.m. - 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. - 01 a.m.)
Grand Bleu is Legends’ pool bar, with comfortable setting, surrounded by tables and chairs for meals. Light lunches come in all shapes and sizes, from club sandwiches to snacks, traditional Chinese tea service and dim sum. Homemade pancakes are served between 4 and 6 each afternoon. The Bar also serves a wide selection of local and international beers, wines and spirits.
Spirit Lounge & Bar
(4 p.m- 12 a.m)
Enjoy memorable moments in the elegant and refined Spirit Lounge, ideal for a quiet drink, before or after dinner. The atmosphere is reminiscent of the plush comfort of an English club, with a choice of Havana cigars.
Banyan Pool, Grill & Bar

The Banyan Bar is a laid-back place, under some of the oldest banyan trees on the island, beside its own pool, with seating at the Bar itself or under parasols on the lawns. The Bar’s selection includes fresh fruit juices, beers andtropical cocktails. At lunchtime, fish, seafood and meat grills are cooked in front of you and there is also a selection of salad dishes.
Beach Service
Legends make sure its guests are properly pampered as they lie under their parasols on the beach. Beach boys and girls serve light fruit treats, cocktails & drinks, and provide sunglasses polishing service and refreshing towels.
Room Service
Room service, including a special menu and a range of drinks, is available 24-hours a day, 7 days a week.
Private Dinning
Legends offer an array of dining alternatives from romantic celebration for couple to private dinner party for families and friends. Whether it is a quiet dinner on the beach, or a special dinner in front of the swimming pool, there is a special offer available to satisfy every wish.

Evening Entertainment
Cabaret and other shows are organized on a regular basis. Every evening, guests are entertained by local artists with music and dancing.

Dress Code
Beachwear all day long (no uncovered swimming attire during breakfast or lunch) and “Smart casual” required as from 6.30p.m

Swimming Pools
The hotel has three fresh-water swimming pools. The main pool, in the centre of the hotel, and close to the main restaurant and Le Grand Bleu, overlooks the breathtaking bay.
The second pool is in a quiet spot right at the very edge of the hotel, in front of the Banyan Pool, Bar & Grill and the third one next to La Baside.
Water Sports
Free of Charge: windsurfing, pedal boats, kayaks, sailing, snorkelling, glass-bottom boat rides, aqua gym and water-skiing.
For a Fee: speedboat rides, scuba diving (PADI) and big game fishing.
Land-based Activities
Free of Charge: gym, beach volley, table tennis, bocci ball, 4 tennis courts and a driving range, which is also suitable for those who want to start learning how to play golf.
Legends also run Tai Chi and Yoga classes
For a Fee: mountain bikes, pool tables, golf balls and electronic games.
Two golf courses are available nearby.
Spa
The Spa of Legends is the core of well-being. A complex of five massage rooms including three single massage rooms, one double inside treatment room with private garden and a whirlpool, one double massage kiosk, a salt water swimming pool, a high-tech gym, two whirlpools, a hammam, a sauna, a Vichy Shower treatment room, a Balneotherapy treatment room and a hairdressing salon. The Spa also proposes body and face signature treatments by Anne Semonin with an exotic concept.

Kids and Teens
Kids Club
Three qualified hostesses entertain youngsters from 3 to 11 years old. For children under 3, a babysitting service is also available on request, for a fee.
Children’s lunch is served between 12.30p.m and 1.30 p.m. in the main restaurant or in the Mini-club depending on the day.
The children have dinner in the main restaurant between 6.30 p.m and 7.30 p.m.
Teens Club
The club for teenagers arranges days of fun-packed activities, including a number of optional excursions outside the hotel and operates from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Conference Room
Legends has excellent facilities for incentive groups, with many opportunities for team building activities and themed evening. Legends is equipped with an air-conditioned conference room (45 m²), seating between 24 and 30 people, depending on the configuration. The 60-seat cinema also makes a good venue for a number of incentive functions and, additionally, there is a Boardroom (25 m²), which can accommodate up to 12 people. For resident groups, there is no charge for the use of these rooms. Standard equipment is provided. It includes a 35mm slide projector, an overhead projector, multi-system video equipment, a PA system, flip charts, a lectern and a wall screen (2.1m x 1.5m). A video projector can also be provided on request. Additional equipment and services can also be organized (with supplement).The hotel also provides secretarial, photocopying, fax, internet and e-mail services at standard hotel rates.
