The «Bougainville Hotel»*** is located at Trou d’Eau Douce, on the east coast, at 45 minutes from the airport, at 45 minutes from the capital, Port-Louis, and at 10 minutes by boat to Ile aux Cerfs (shuttles available from the hotel).

The 50 rooms, with the charming decorations, all have a private terrace with garden furniture. They are distributed in small ochre painted buildings, spread amidst the filaos and the bougainvilleas.

The restaurant and bars
The restaurant « La Licorne » accommodates 110 covers by the sea. The bars of the restaurant propose delicious exotic cocktails, often rum aromatised

The opening hours
Breakfast is served as a buffet from 7h00 to 10h30. Lunch « à la carte » is served from midday to 15h00. A fast food service is also available up to 17h00. Dinner, 19h00 to 22h00, is made up of theme buffets or of a « table d’hôte » formula.

The entertainment
Music is omnipresent in Mauritius: a local group entertains the « Bougainville Hotel », three times a week with a theme evening. One of the evenings is dedicated to the Sega show, the typical local dance.

The shop
