Curepipe to Chamarel

A trip to the interior of the island, with its marvellous sights and Trou Aux Cerfs, its dormant volcano.

The visit starts in Curepipe, one of the largest commercial and residential towns situated near Trou Aux Cerfs where you will find a great variety of local and duty free products in the city centre. We shall also stop at one of the factories specialising in the famous ships models.

The trip will continue through Mare aux Vacoas, Plaine Champagne, Grand Bassin (where Hindu pilgrims gather every year) and the Black River Gorges down to Chamarel, offering a variety of landscapes ranging from dense continental forests, luxuriant tropical vegetation, against the blue of the Indian Ocean. A sumptuous meal, excluding drinks, in the enchanting valley of Chamarel at the Restaurant “Le Chamarel” or at K'fé Club Restaurant in Curepipe amid a galery.
