Gabriel & Flat Islands

Jean François, the skipper, and his team will welcome you

at the Sunset Boulevard, Grand Bay, at  8.30 am abord his

catamaran Tamamsa.  From there, you will sail towards

Gabriel and Flat Islands,some 8 nautical miles away.  It

will take about one hour or so to reach the island.  On the

way, you will pass the "Coin de Mire", a superb rocky island

arising fom the seabed.  This is a famous landmark of

Mauritius for its location and for being a haven for rare birds.

Gabriel and Flat Islands have a rich historical past trace, which are still to be found amongst the trees: remnants of huts a well pan abandoned light house…

You will also be able to discover one of the richest lagoons of the island… at your leisure and enjoy a complete peace. Lunch will be served either on the island or on board in a relaxed and convivial atmosphere.

This full day excursion includes transport from and to the hotel, BBQ Lunch, unlimited drinks and entertainment on board (Chicken, sausages, fish, garlic bread, rice salad, green salad; rum, soft drinks, wine, mineral water, cocktails and beer; dessert will be either flame banana or pineapple).

You are sure to have your head bubbling with images of a superb day.
Return the main land is around 4.40pm, where your vehicle will be awaiting to take you back to your hotel.
