The Tamamsa Catamaran is based in Grand Bay, on the north west of the island. Sunset Boulevard at 8.30 am. From there, you will sail towards Gabiel Islet, eight (8) nautical miles away - the trip will take around one (1) hour
On the way, you will pass a very famous landmark of Mauritius, the "Coin de Mire", a superb unsual rocky island ising fom the sea. A haven for rare bids... like the famous "Paille en Queue" a wonderful sight! On the right hand side of the Gabriel Islet is the Flat Island, which as the name suggests is unsually flat! ![]() Gabiel Islet has rich historical past traces,
remnants of huts, a well pan, a chapel and an abandoned light house. You will also be able to discover one of the richest lagoon aroundthe island at your leisure and in complete peace! Discover the Paille en Queue, a beautifulwhite bird with a ribbon-like tail. Or you may just enjoy the pristine clear water.
Lunch is served on board or on the island, in a relaxed and convival atmosphere.

You are guarantied to be swept away by the majestic view and the serenity of Gabriel Islet. After a superb day, at around 3.00pm, Jean Francois and his team will take to back aboard the Tamamsa for an enjoyable trip back to the beat of the Sega. On the mainland your vehicle will be awaiting to take you back to your hotel.
