Catamaran Tamamsa

The Tamamsa Catamaran is based in Grand Bay, on the north west of the island.

The dedicated  and sea love skipper, Jean François and his crew will welcome you at the whaf near the

Sunset Boulevard  at 8.30 am. From there, you

will sail towards Gabiel Islet, eight (8) nautical

miles away - the trip will take around one (1)

hour

On the way, you will pass  a very famous

landmark of Mauritius, the "Coin de Mire",

a superb unsual rocky island ising fom the

sea.  A haven for rare bids... like the famous

"Paille en Queue"  a wonderful sight!

On the right hand side of the Gabriel Islet is the Flat Island, which as the name suggests is unsually flat!

Lunch is served on board or on the island, in a relaxed and convival atmosphere.

This full day excursion includes

day, at around 3.00pm, Jean Francois and his team will take to back aboard the Tamamsa for an

enjoyable trip back to the beat of the Sega.  On the mainland  your vehicle will be awaiting to take you back

to your hotel.
