Tamarina Golf

Standing on the sunny west coast of Mauritius, Tamarina Golf Estate and Beach Club boasts one of the finest golf courses on the sunny west coast of Mauritius. This unique 250 hectares Estate, named after the Tamarin trees common to the area, is fully dedicated to the art of living.

It encompasses 119 luxury villas with individual swimming pools, a 43 hectares 18-hole Championship golf course, a Pro Centre, a modern panoramic Clubhouse with restaurants and bars, Pro Shop and boutique, showers and Bag storage facilities. A stylish private Beach Club with swimming pool and restaurants will open next December.

The Par 72 championship golf course has been designed by Wright Golf Design, headed by world famous designer Rodney Wright who is renowned for his courses in USA, Australia, Africa, Asia, Japan, Philippines and Mauritius. Likewise, the landscaping of holes and surrounds has been contracted out to an international team. Greens are lush carpets of an ultra-dwarf Bermuda grass called "Champion".

As Tamarina Estate is "golf cart only", in keeping with its environment, a shuttle service is available internally. Guests entering the estate from the main gate will be directed to the Welcome Centre and shuttled from there to the clubhouse by means of complimentary golf carts. GPS fitted Golf carts can be hired to access any part of the Estate, including the coming secluded and private Beach Club for after golf and family activities.

The 119 luxury villas, set in luxuriant foliage, are set back from the course to offer more privacy to their residents. All villas are owned exclusively by  local and international golfers and a professional rental scheme has been designed offering a string of services and benefits.

In a second phase, the golf estate will host other high standard amenities and sport installations such as spa, lodges, a helipad, a gynasium and tennis courts.

Estate Boutique
The Club House Boutique provides a quick shop facility for all users of the Golf Estate: newspapers & magazines, stationery, basic toiletries like soap, toothpaste, shampoo or tampons, basic houslod items (mosquito coils, toilet paper, diswashing soap), some basic foodstuffs(water, milk, tea, coffee, bread, eggs, butter), pastries, a few luxury food and household gifts. Villas residents may also place their order at the Estate Boutique for in-villa catering or prepared meals.

Golf Pro Shop
The Pro Shop at the Clubhouse caters for a wide range of golf-associated products, including leading brand golf apparel, clothing and accessories for both men and women. Exclusive brands such as Titleist, Cobra, Scotty Cameron, Callaway, Wilson, White Hot, FootJoy, Greg Norman, Cutter and Buck, Puma, Fairway and Greene, Sunderland are available.

The shop is open seven days a week from 06.00 a.m to 6.00 p.m.

Beach Club Leisure
How about relaxing in style and comfort after a exciting day on the golf Championship course? Very soon - next December - you will be able to enjoy the comfort of our secluded Beach Club offering breathtaking view over the bay and exclusively reserved for golfers and their family! Within a short distance of the clubhouse and easily accessed by shuttle, the Beach Club will open onto the fine sandy beach and glittering foaming waters of Tamarin Bay. It will have a swimming pool, restaurant and bar, and changing facilities. This will be the final touch to the alrealy magnificent setting of Tamarina Estate.
